Around the beginning of June, 2020, I purchased a Fitbit. For those of you who may not know what that is, it is a kind of watch that can track all kinds of fitness data such as heart rate, step count, and even sleep data!

It took me a few days to get used to wearing it, but now I only take it off to charge it a few times a week.

My husband, Seiya, bought his about a week after I got mine. I thought it was adorable that he wanted the one with the flower design.
Fitbit bands are removable so you can buy different colors and styles for different occasions. We both have the silicon material which is ideal for sports. Fitbit is water resistant, and you can even wear it in the pool or shower!

Fitbit syncs to an app on your phone, where you can see all your data, and also manually input certain data, easily.
You can share things on your profile for your friends to see. Seiya is currently my only friend. 😉 You can also earn badges for various things like walking a certain number of steps.

The app also offers various guided programs and challenges. I use the meditations every day before going to bed and whenever I feel the need to cool down.
The challenges are really fun and some of them (like Bingo) are good to do with someone. The Solo Adventures are also really nice because you can do them by yourself.

Ever since I have started using Fitbit, I have become even more motivated to exercise and stay fit. It’s fun to have lots of small goals that I can accomplish every day and to be able to see how I am improving.

For anyone who is interested in monitoring their health, I highly recommend the Fitbit Inspire HR! I am sure glad I bought mine. Feel free to use the link below to buy it in Japan. Full disclosure, I will receive a small percentage of the sale if you use my link. So, if you do, thanks 😉
