Vegan Food Wrap from Hokkaido – MyEcoLife

November 20, 2020 By Rose

I am always looking for ways to reduce my plastic use so when I found these vegan wax food wraps that are handmade in Hokkaido, I was sold!

They have lots of colors and designs and are super cute and fun to use!

You can use them just like regular plastic wrap, over dishes or even as a pocket for a sandwich or a snack!

It was even shipped without plastic packing to reduce waste!

I ordered a set of 3 sizes (S-M-L) but you can also buy just one!

The warmth from your hands makes the wrap bend and stick in place. I’m in love! I have already ordered 5 more wraps because I want to use them for everything!

Care is easy; just wash gently with cold water and a soft sponge and soap and then hang dry. The ingredients are all vegan and recently they have started adding more wraps that are made with organic cotton! (The first one I ordered was not organic cotton)

For my second order, I also bought one of their bamboo toothbrushes, a plant-based sponge, and a special present for my husband.

I got Seiya this Vegan Cork Leather Wallet! His old wallet has been getting holes in it lately and this one is not only eco-friendly but the price is also really reasonable!

I’ve already become a repeat-buyer, and I’m sure I will be back for more in the future. I love finding stores like this because I love to support local businesses here in Japan that are trying to make a positive impact by providing better choices of products. So, why not give them a try and follow them on Instagram too while you’re at it 🙂
